Swamp Ash Body

Known for their striking grain patterns, Swamp Ash is a very resonant and bright sounding tonewood that is resonant across all frequencies with a lightly scooped midrange enabling the highs to be slightly more pronounced. Lightweight and more open top end, the dynamic range of Swamp Ash is superb offering a percussive quickness when picked hard and balanced sweetness when fingerpicked with a light touch.

The combination of Fluence Single Width pickups and Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker opens up a vast array of tonal possibilities. The Flunece Single Width Pickups feature a clear, present, and authentic single coil tones that are free from hum and noise. The Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker is a 3-in-1 versatile powerhouse, with Voice 1 being vintage PAF sounding, Voice 2 for classic hot-rodded humbucker tones, and Voice 3 for genuine overwound single coil sound.

Cort® CFA-III Tremolo

The hardware also has a significant influence on the acoustic characteristics of the guitar. Cort® CFA-III Tremolo System with metal injection molding manufacturing technique with stainless steel used on the saddle, bridge plate and the block for a big, solid, bold and articulate sound as well as enhanced sustain. The recessed tremolo bridge allows for pull-ups to raise the pitch as well as pushing down for lowering the pitch, providing further tremolo versatility.

Ergonomic Body Contour

Both comfort and appearance were enhanced with an elegantly contoured arm cut on the top. This modification to the body has been carefully laid out on the bodies of the X guitars for maximum comfort without removing unnecessary amounts of wood. The lines of the X body are graceful for aesthetic beauty as well as for ergonomic considerations.

Stainless Steel Frets

Stainless steel frets boast excellent resistance to corrosion. The wide and tall fret-type offers a quick response, good articulation when playing chords and a clear tone when playing single notes.
