Hand selected from the factory, the all-blackwood Cole Clarks are always in high demand with our customers.  Blackwood, sourced from Tasmania and the Otway Ranges in Victoria, is a luthiers dream timber. Easy to work with, stunningly grained and sonically crisp.  Being a member of the Acacia family it has a strong resemblance to Hawaiian Koa in many respects. 

This particular one I chose for the nice light sap-wood running from the bottom of the face to the bottom of the soundhole - It's like mother nature put a racing stripe on herself!

Equally at home as a strummer or picker this guitar is one for all seasons.
